Not quite as famous as the four great looking girls from Sex and the City comes another great show with plenty of sex appeal of its own which has entertained viewers for many years now which is called Desperate Housewives. Nicolette Sheridan is one of the sexy ladies out of this TV series which has proven to be a hit as girls like Nicolette playing the character Edie Britt take most of their gear off to sell the show. This not only works by keeping the men interested however the thick and juicy plot is everything that a woman needs in a good TV show. Soap operas are out and this new breed of action, thriller and comedy plus drama series opens the way for better television. Nicolette is actually an English Sussex girl who migrated to America in 1973. She has spent most of her life in America which is why she has only a slight accent.

Nicole has had a few troubles with her boyfriends and marriages over the past but who hasn’t these days after all the crazy things that are going on in the world. People do not know if they are meant to be married or to have children anymore which make it very difficult to be in a steady relationship. Things have changed and with the changing times we see that Nicolette Sheridan has what it takes to get past her past and see well into the future for her career that is going very well for her. There are still more opportunities in the Hollywood industry which will certainly help her along the way as we get past the Desperate House Wives series.

Nicole started her career in 1984 in a series on TV called Living Dolls. After the first thirteen episodes she found that the show was not going any further so had to look for work in other places. In the series Knots Landing in 1986 she secured a good position with this TV show lasting seven years over a 179 episode long TV series. In 1995 she was in a movie called Virus which was a thriller and horror movie about a viral infection that could kill off the entire world. Some of the funnier movies and TV shows that Nicole was in were Beverly Hills Ninja, the Legend of Tarzan and Tarzan and Jane in 2002. She was also a guest on Will and Grace which was something of an honor back in those days.

Nicolette Sheridan Lawsuit

Nicolette Sheridan, who not long ago played the role of sexy realtor, Edie Britt, on the hit show Desperate Housewives, filed a lawsuit in April 2010 against the creator of the show. Allegedly the creator, Marc Cherry, hit Sheridan in the face while they were having an argument on set and that he continued to always act in a rude, aggressive, and abusive manner towards Nicolette.

Nicolette had already filed a complaint with ABC Studios who produce and distribute the hit show in 2009 but those charges had been dismissed because they had no merits. However, Sheridan persisted that Marc Cherry was abusive, and not just towards her. She also made claims that Terri Hatcher, who also starred on the show at the time, and still does, was also a victim of Cherry’s and that when Cherry had a problem with her, he said that he hoped Hatcher got hit by a car and died.

Nicolette believes that the tension on set and that the first complaint she filed last year were the ultimate cause for her being killed off the show in the season finale in 2009. Sheridan has pointed out that while many men are victims of accidents and foul play on the show that lead to their ultimate deaths and no longer being part of the show, this has never happened to any women who appeared on the show, and certainly not to one of the main characters.

In total, Nicolette Sheridan is suing for $20 million dollars for assault and battery, gender violence, and wrongful termination. As of June 2010, no settlement or decision by the courts had been made.
